Why is achieving a circular economy so difficult?
As a remanufacturer one of our major goals behind our business is to achieve a circular economy, but this will always be a difficult task to achieve (but that won’t stop us).
Why is it so difficult you might ask? One of the major problems faced by ALL remanufacturers, no matter the product, brand, or location, is that the quality of remanufactured products is traditionally viewed as inferior to that of new products, resulting in more people having preference of using brand new products, which in turn increases the number of raw materials used.
For most businesses, the default response to a broken or used prodct/partis to swap it with a brand new replacement, however, brand new products can have long lead times, an expesive cost of installation, and can massively increase a company's carbon footprint. Doing all of this will of course negatively affect their reputation.
Beating expectations
There is a common consensus that remanufactured products don't live up to the expectations of their original counterparts, but that isn't the case with ECS's products. We use some of the latest remanufacturing techniques in combination with modern state-of-the-art equipment and filling machines in order to make our toner cartridges. Our remanufactured products always match the OEM in quality, performance and reliability.
